Glow South Riding Info
Glow South Riding is this Saturday! Thanks for registering, and thanks to the South Riding community for hosting. We are very excited to be holding this event in this great neighborhood.
Below you will find all the event information. Please be sure to like us on Facebook at REV3Glow. We post the most up-to-date information there.
The 5K and 1-mile fun run will be untimed. We will have an official race clock for finishers to see their time, but we won’t be posting any official results.
It looks like it may be a bit rainy Saturday night, so be sure to add some sparkle to your raincoat or umbrella! (The race will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the race start may be postponed or the course may be shortened.)
The 5K and 1-mile run will start at sunset (approximately 7:45 pm). Start times may be adjusted slightly depending on the lighting conditions. Make sure you have checked in at packet pickup and are ready to run/jog/walk by 7:30 pm. The Glow start and finish will be located at the South Riding Center Pool (42420 Unicorn Dr, South Riding, VA 20152).
If you have friends who are on the fence about running, we are sure you can convince them to come on out. Online registration will be open until 2 pm on Saturday, April 30, and we will have on-site registration available during packet pickup.
If you need to transfer or change your registration, you can log into you Active.com account and for a small fee transfer your registration to another person or another category.

Parking Parking will be at at Freedom High School (25450 Riding Center Dr, Chantilly, VA 20152), a short walk (~0.25 miles) from the start line at the South Riding Center Pool.
Packet Pickup
You will have two packet pickup opportunities, both on the second floor of the South Riding Center Pool house (42420 Unicorn Dr, South Riding, VA 20152).
Friday April 29th, 2016, 5:00-7:00 PM
Saturday, April 30, 2016, 6:00-7:30 pm: Race start/finish area, South Riding Center Pool (42420 Unicorn Dr, South Riding, VA 20152)
During packet pickup each entrant will receive their goodies: a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, a glow stick, and a bib number.
Please ensure you have completed the online waiver through Active.com. You may have done this when you registered online, but if you have not, you will need to complete one when picking up your packet. Packet pickup goes a lot quicker if you sign the online waiver beforehand. Refer to your confirmation email or log into your Active.com account to sign the waiver electronically. You can also download it, sign it, and bring it with you.
Pre-Race Party and Expo The music and emcee will begin at 6:00 PM (with the 5K and 1-mile runs beginning at 7:45 PM). While you are getting your pre-run groove on, we will be giving out prizes for the best bling, most glow, and lots of other fun categories. The party continues after the run until 9:00 pm.
Be sure to stop by and say hi to our on-site sponsors. The NZone will have a moon bounce to get you all warmed up! XS Energy Drink will offer some samples, and Moe’s Southwest Grill will have salsa and chips (and their prize wheel going) for you. Power Train Fitness, The Little Gym, J2 Therapy and Wellness, and the CVHS Wildcats vs. Cancer Club will also be on hand. We have some fabulous local partners!

Aid Stations We’ll have an aid station with water and Gatorade on the course.
Gear For Glow South Riding you will need a pair of running shoes and your normal running attire. You’ll be running at night, so flashlights or head lamps are encouraged and make a fabulous addition to the overall glow! Plus you can add to your outfit anything that makes you stand out in a crowd. Let's see how bright and colorful you can glow! You may win prizes for having the brightest, flashiest, and most reflective attire.
