The trails are calling!
We are looking at some pretty fabulous trail running and riding weather for Saturday, which is a perfect way to start off the Fall Foliage series. Please check our Facebook page and website on Friday for any final updates.
We will hold the pre-run/ride tomorrow (Wednesday) between 5 pm and 7 pm at The Grant in Willowsford, Saturday’s race location. Please check in at the trailhead before going out on the trails.
Directions
1. Traveling north on Evergreen Mills Road take a left onto Langley Oaks Drive. Traveling south on Evergreen Mills Road take a right onto Langley Oaks Drive.
2. At the end of Langley Oaks Drive take a right on Everfield Drive.
3. Continue down Everfield Drive through the first traffic island.
4. Take a right on Homestead Landing Court.
5. Drive to the end and the trailhead is on your left.
For GPS location directions enter Homestead Landing Ct, Aldie, VA 20105.
If you have not done so already, please read back through previous emails and updates for all race-day information. They can be found on the Rev3 Adventure blog here. You also can check out the current race rosters on the race web page under “Who Is Racing.”
Packet pickup is on race day starting at 8:30 am at the start line. All racers must have a bibChip, which is attached to the bib you’ll receive at packet pickup. If you forget to wear your bib, we cannot give you a time or points toward the series. No exceptions.
During packet pickup you will need to complete two waivers, one for Willowsford and one for Rev3 Adventure. Downloadable waivers are available (click the previous links) for you to review, print, sign, and hand in to make the packet pickup process run a lot smoother. (You may have already signed these waivers when you registered. If so, we’ll have a record of it, and you won’t need to fill them out again.)
You’ll be able to do a quick pre-ride/run of the course from 9 to 10 am the morning of the race.
